Sony Reader

Here is what I've been spending my last time with:

Yes, it's a Sony Reader, which has magically apeared in Denmark, although at a bit hefty price tag.

It's really great for reading - nothing more - nothing less. So far I've read about three books on it, and it's really great. RTF files and books from the Sony Connect (online) Store are great, but PDFs tend to be a bit laggy, with quite slow page-turn times.

So far I've read:

• Collected Stories of Vernor Vinge (my first Sony Connect purchase)..
• Rendevous with RAMA by Arthur C Clarke. Great, fascinating straight-on sci-fi.
• Second Foundation, by Isaac Asimov.

I might as well sum up, what I've been reading for the last half year:

• The Jesus Incident - by bill Ransom & Frank Herbert.
• The Lazarus Effect - by bill Ransom & Frank Herbert.
• The Ascension Factor - by bill Ransom & Frank Herbert. Great series - you can do nicely without the first in the series, "Destination: Void".

• Whipping Star - by Frank Herbert.
• The Dosadi Experiment - by Frank Herbert.
• Foundation - by Isaac Asimov.
• Foundation and Empire by Isaac Asimov.
• Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep - by Philip K. Dick.
• A Scanner Darkly - by Philip K. Dick.
• A Fire Upon the Deep - by Vernor Vinge.
• A Deepness in the Sky - by Vernor Vinge.

• The Peace War - by Vernor Vinge.
• Marooned in Realtime - by Vernor Vinge. All Vinge's novels are amazing and mindblowing. I hope Rainbows End will soon be on Sony Connect.
